I’m Maria Luisa, a freelance illustrator and author based in Rome, Italy.

I usually tell stories for tiny humans: most of the time, I draw picture books, and sometimes I also write them.

 

 In addition to children’s books, I work on:

• book covers

• hand lettering

• private commissions

• coloring books

• greeting cards 

 

I love to work with clients from all over the world, discovering something new with each project. 

 

I’m addicted to podcasts and audiobooks, and I also am a detective at heart: I like doing historical research

and reconstructing past events.
